SIRI Multispeciality Dental Clinic is run by Dr. N. Mothi Krishna, an orthodontist and aligners specialist, and Dr. P. Susmithaa, a periodontist and implantologist. Are clear aligners better than braces?
Both straighten teeth well. Aligners are nearly invisible and removable, which suits many adults and teens; braces can be better for some complex cases. Dr. Mothi Krishna will check your teeth and tell you honestly which option fits you.
My gums bleed when I brush. Should I worry?
Bleeding gums are usually an early sign of gum disease. It's very treatable when caught early, so it's worth a check-up with our periodontist, Dr. Susmithaa.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with a missing tooth can get an implant, as long as there is enough healthy bone and the gums are healthy. We assess this at your consultation, with X-rays where needed.
Is root canal treatment painful?
Modern root canal treatment is done under local anaesthesia, and most patients say it feels similar to getting a filling. It relieves the pain caused by the infected tooth.
